We may not have it all together, but together we have it all.

The Tantrum

Elizabeth has started to throw temper tantrums. The only problem is that I think they are cute. She will crawl from room to room throwing herself on the floor, then she will sit up and see if you are watching. Well I walked past her to get my camera to take a couple pictures and soon discovered that if you snap a picture of her it makes her stop crying.

I think she was just tired.

Last Night Home Alone!!

So tomorrow is Trevor's last day up in Safford. He will be back in town and running a job out at Raytheon. It is just one of the big military bases down here in Tucson. It should be fun for him. Last weekend when he was out there he was working in a room where the build the guidence systems for the big missels. He has a level 4 clearance (there are only 5 levels). I am excited to not be a "widow" anymore. It will be nice to have some grown up company everyday again.
Elizabeth has added to her repatoir of cool things she does, she will now wave bubye, but we will see if she still does it tomorrow. It is cute but I think "gimmie five" is still more fun. I keep trying to get her to say mumma of dada. When you tell her to say "mumma" she says "dadadada" and when you tell her to say "dada" she says "nananana". The only time she breaks down and says mumma is when she is sad. Stubborn thing. I am busy making birthday party plans for her this saturday. I am very excited, but still can't believe that I have been a mom for a year now. We are enjoying our little girl while she is little.

I have done portriats of her every six months and these ones have been the hardest by far, she either won't hold still or she won't smile. Here are her newborn and 6 month ones and the best of the bunch so far for her one year old ones.

Ode to Ichiban

Ichiban. Miracle food for many. Quick Easy and kinda Tasty. Brings relief to starving students and lazy teenagers. Good on it's own or with vegetables. Well maybe I am going kind of over board but Lizzy sure likes it. I took these pictures of her the other day and I think that they are SOOOOOO CUTE!!!!!

Fathers

Happy Fathers day everyone. This is my fathers day tribute to all of the fathers in my life. First There is Trevor. He loves his little girls so much. They love to have their play times together and laugh and giggle but they love to have their quiet times together when he will just lay beside her and rub her back.

Then there is my father. He is the one that I have always turned to for guidence. He can calm me down and make evrything better even in the worst of times. He knows what to say and how to listen. He has always been an amazing exampel to me of hard work, faith, guidence and love.

Then ther is my father in law Joel. He has been so kind to me. He is always calm and I know he would do anything to help Trevor and I. He likes to hang out and have fun, but he is one of the hardest working people I know, and he has taught his boys how to work. He loves his family and the girls that have been brought in over the last couple of years (Elizabeth and I).

Trevor and I also have six amazing grandfathers who have shared so much with both of us over the years, they have loved us and taught us and shared so many memories and traditions with us. Grandpa Steve, Grandpa Hoy, Grandpa Nelson, Grandpa Craig and Grandpa Davis Grandpa Floyd (who I don't have a pictures of on my computer).

Finally between our two families there are 6 brothers that will all be celebrating fathers day one day.

HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!

Revival

So... I am single handedly going to try to revive the blog. You get to know more about people and more details than facebook. So If you read my blog please comment so that I know I am not just talking to myself, and if you have a blog UPDATE IT!!!

Trevor is home for the weekend but in classic workaholic fashion he went to work. He has been working out in Safford for over a month now, he goes out there for 4 days and then gets a 3 day weekend, not to shabby if you ask me. But then he realized that if he works the 3 days here, between overtime (friday saturday) and double time (sunday) He can make the same amount in three days as he does in four. We are on a streak with trying to pay things off and unload baggage to prepare for an upcoming event. As well we have a big summer coming up, I am going for a week in Utah with my Mom's family and Trevor is goiong to alaska on an all male fishing trip with his uncles, cousins, brothers, father and grandpa. He is VERY excited but it all costs money.

Outside Girl

Elizabeth loves to go outside. Trevor took her out with her while he tidied up a bit. She was sad when I took her back in so he could mow. She stood at the door and watched, It was so cute. She is definatly a summer baby.

Pictures

Who said paint had to be on the wall?!?!

Okay so I can't find my patch cord to down load the pictures from my camera, I am assuming that it is in the desk drawer but it is full of junk that I don't want to deal with yet, so for now it is lost. Anywasy we were painting one of the walls in the front room and Elizabeth was playing the the floor with one of our house phones. Neither Trevor nor I were paying much attention. Then Trevor got down off the ladder to get some more paint when he noticed that Elizabeth was looking into the paint bucket, yes our phone had gone for a swim. We now have a brown paint clogged phone which you can still hear a dial tone on but you can't press the buttons or look at the screen. We washed it off best we could and it served as a play phone until Lizzy lost interest because it stopped making noises. Maybe I will go find my cord so you can get a better picture.

Roadtrip

We took the long drive up to Green River for Memorial day. We drove all night to get there. Brutal. It was a great trip, we went shooting, got haircuts, played cards, saw Pirates 3 and hung out. It was fun to spend time together.

Elizabeth had a fun time learning how to climb stairs and playing with all the stuff in the pantry.

We stopped at the Hoover Dam on our way home. It was really fun to stop and look at. Thay are building a new bridge so that there won't be as much traffic on the dam.

So when Elizabeth learned to crawl we came up with the brilliant idea to save our books....we just blocked them all off with the couch pillows. Well she has now learned how to stand. She leans leisurely on the pillows as she gets into the ones on the next shelf . My brilliant plan is ruined.
