All in all it was a fun visit. It is always nice to see family.
We may not have it all together, but together we have it all.

Papa Joel and Grammie
Joel and Glenda came down to visit us this past weekend. It was so much fun. The first night they were here it was fun to watch them play with Elizabeth. Everyone was laughing hysterically. Joel would run around the house chasing the dog holding Elizabeth who is shrieking as they go.
Glenda played on the floor with Elizabeth. Elizabeth would throw herself down and then climb back up. I laughed so hard my insides hurt.

We mad e a day trip down to Mexico. It was fun to wander through the shops and look for things to buy. In the end we only spent $20.00, cheaper than a park entrance fee. The guys ate taco's for lunch. Glenda and I were to chicken to try them. (Pig head taco's no way!) The thing that suprised me was how easy it was to get in and out. Going inbetween Canada and the States you have to show your passport, you have to have a customs declaration, they want to know where you are going, how long, what you bought, how much you are taking and heaven knows how many more questions. To get into Mexico you just walk through, no real suprise there. However to get back into the states we stood in a two minute line (how long is the airport customs line in Calgary) We flashed some id, of which a drivers license was fine. and said what country we were citizens from, of which there didn't appear to be any wrong answer. Didn't matter who it was they just walked through. No baggage search, nothing. The funny part is that the city of Nogales is one city. They built a big wall through the middle and call the one side Nogales Arizona and the other side is Nogales Mexico. So if it wasn't easy enough to get through customs you could just climb up onto a roof of a nearby building and jump.

Elizabeth got to try so many new foods while Joel and Glenda were up. One of her new favorites is Peanutbutter M&M's
