We had stopped for lunch at the McDonald's in the Walmart. Trevor was ordering the food and waiting for it. I was dealing with the troops. I got Lizzy set up at the table and scooted our cart to the side with Abby asleep in her car seat inside it. Sam want ed to stay with me though. So he came with me to get the ketchup and napkins. I was about 3 cart lengths from our table. When I got everything I want I said "Okay Sam lets go back" and started to head over to the table. Sam got distracted along the way though. He headed over to the high chairs to take a look. He was still in my eyesight and he wasn't hurting anything so I didn't think anything about it. All of a sudden his head jerks back and forward as he looks side to side in a panic. i was behind him a few tables away putting the ketchup down. All of a sudden he bolts. Thinking I had abandoned him. He starts screaming. Short loud bursts of "Ah Ah Ah Ah Ahhhhhhhhh!!"He bolts down the aisle. I am calling after him "Sam Sam I'm right here" he is around the corner and past Trevor and out the door into the open walmart. Luckily Trevor saw him fly by and caught up to him right outside the door, scooped him up and calmed him down. When he got back to the table with him I couldn't help it I was laughing my head off. This is my little boy that when you call him to follow you he runs the other way laughing. I have never seen him so upset about being alone. I mean he DID wander away from ME not the other way around. I had only seen him run like that once before and that was when he was escaping from nursery (which he hates.)
My second story is about myself tonight. My Mom had come over to help me put the kids to bed. She was taking Lizzy to the bathroom (she had been put to bed 45 minutes earlier and was still pulling out different stall tactics) My Mom told me if I would get the garbage from the back deck she would put it out on the curb so it would be picked up in the morning. So I head out back. I open the back door. LUCKILY I didn't let go of the handle. I became suddenly aware of the tornado like hurricane wind that was going on outside. The door pulls away from me. But I don't let go. I am pulling with both my hands and all my body weight against it and it is pulling me towards the edge of the deck. Finally I found the perfect balance to stop my movement. I let go with the one hand, grab the closest garbage bag and huck it back inside, and then struggle to throw myself in after it without letting go of the door. I suddenly become aware that I have been screaming this whole time as I collapse onto the floor now laughing my head off. My cousin Ari (who is in the process of moving into my basement) comes upstairs to see what is going on. I take the bag out to the front while explaining what had happened and she helps me to tag team the rest of the garbage. sooooo funny. I am such a spaz.

Hey, I'd rather be a laughing spazz than a ridiculous yelling at everyone kind of spaz. You have to laugh through life, right?
So you got the torrential winds up there too, eh? I'm glad you made it back into the house alive!
HAHA ohhh he loves his mamma. I can't blame him I also think she's pretty great.
